The sodium content is: 0.176 g/100 g for dogs and 0.177 g/100 g for cats (analysis on finished product). But some vets are thinking of the combination of diet + Viyo Recuperation, so: sodium content of product: 0.94% DM (dry matter) – more important is if you give a well balanced diet, what will be the increase in sodium % on a daily base? Without Viyo Recuperation, a diet normally provides 0.35% sodium (Na+). If you give a well balanced diet + Viyo Recuperation, it will be 0.37% so a very slight increase. Conclusion: you don’t really provide a lot of sodium which is good so you can safely give it to heart, liver and kidney patients.
